Exposure for BeOS
Exposure! is a new Image Download Utility for Digital Cameras running
uder the BeOS operating System. The
OS is currently bundles with a Digital Camera Utility, however it
is limited to a small number of cameras, and has limited functionality.
Exposure! was developed to address this, and as such is feature
packed, and infinitely expandable.
Exposure! started
life in April 1999 as a simple download utility for the Kodak DC210
Digital Zoom camera and was called DCCamera. Because of the support
gained from many camera manufacturers and the support of various
BETA testers, the software has expanded.
Version 1.0 which
was released in May 1999 had full support for the Kodak DC200, DC210
and DC240 cameras. Version 2.0 had extended support for the kodak
cameras, and with the experiemental BDCP plugins API support was
also gained for Fuji cameras. Now with the release of Version 3.0
with the enhanced BDCP2 plugin API,
the list of supported cameras is growing fast. Check the list of
plugins below to see if your camera is supported.

not on the list then please contact me to find
out of there are any plans to support your camera.
Exposure! for BeOS will allow you to connect to any Digital Camera
(as long as there is a plugin for your specific camera) and browse
and download images. Extra functionality may be supported by certain
plugins which will allow you to delete images, take pictures and
perform other camera control functions.
Exposure is built around the BDCP2 Digital Camera Plugin API for
the support of an infinite number of cameras. For more information
